About the big C
the big C The new original SHOWTIME hit THE BIG C features Laura Linney who plays Cathy Jamison, a conservative schoolteacher and mother who receives life changing news that she diagnosed with cancer and decides after the news, to make a radical, longtime coming alterations to the way she lives her life. While she decides if she wants to tell anyone about her cancer diagnosis, the main character Cathy decides it's her time to rebel, confronting her childish husband Paul, coddled son Adam, and her homeless and self proclaimed spokesman for the enviornment brother, Sean. Throughout the show Cathy forms abnormal relationships with unforseen people, including her oncologist, Dr.Todd.
